NFSF Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by National Association of Women in Construction
Introduction
The NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) supports the development of a skilled workforce for the construction industry by funding higher education and certified training. The construction sector includes a wide range of professions—skilled trades, project management, office and administrative roles, legal and financial services, insurance, and business ownership—and NFSF seeks to help students entering any of these fields.
Scholarship awards and support
Each year NFSF distributes more than $250,000 in scholarships to students enrolled in construction-related programs. Individual awards begin at $1,000. In addition to national awards, some local NAWIC chapters offer their own scholarships. For questions about eligibility or the application process, email nfsf@nawic.org.
About NFSF
Established in 1963, NFSF operates as a self-supporting scholarship program and is classified as a 509(a)(3) organization. Contributions are tax-deductible as charitable donations. The foundation can also manage scholarship programs on behalf of companies or local NAWIC chapters for college and trade school students.
