NMASBO Scholarships

Each year, NMASBO grants as many as six scholarships, each worth $1,500, to exceptional high school seniors throughout New Mexico. A minimum of one scholarship recipient is chosen from each region. The selection committee evaluates applicants based on their demonstrated financial need and a well-defined plan for utilizing the scholarship.In 2025, the Scholarship Committee will choose two individuals from the pool of applicants to be awarded the 16th Annual Joni Heinsohn Memorial Scholarship and the 34th Annual Joey Montaño Memorial Scholarship, each worth $2,500. Isabella County Farm Bureau Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria: A) The applicant should be a resident of Isabella County. B) The field of study for the applicant should be related to agriculture. C) The applicant should be either enrolled in or have plans to attend a trade school, community college, or university. D) The scholarship recipients are selected based on their GPA, leadership qualities, involvement in community activities related to their field of study, and their educational and career aspirations. E) Along with the application, the applicant is required to submit a copy of their academic transcript.
